Ontary-ary-O!

I'm so sorry ! I'm really not a good blogger...
But if you didn't already see the pictures up on facebook.. I am in Ontario! Have been for.. about a week and I love it! I've only been here once and that was just in Ottawa so it's really sweet to be in a place I've never really seen before. Ontario is beautiful. During our drive we stopped and took pictures at Lake Superior - and it was so sunshiney and beautiful and then an hour later we hit some serious snowfall.. Guess that's Canada's spring for you.
So yeah we've been doing a number of events in Dryden, Thunder Bay, Sudbury, Chatham & Paris. On our drive from Sudbury to Chatham (about an eight hour drive) we decided to break up the day with a stop in Toronto downtown! (Since we were passing through it anyway.) Something I have discovered on tour? I LOVE BIG CITIES! :) We went up the CN Tower, had lunch - although not at the tower, EXPENSIVE!! - and then just walked around the downtown area... Jessica showed us the Fairmont where she stayed while competing in Canadian Idol, we saw CBC, CTV and MTV studios..! (Really disappointed I didn't see anyone famous) and yeah..! It was so much fun even just to walk around! Setting up and taking down every night isn't enough exercise! And then yep after about three hours we continued on to Chatham...
I'm really enjoying this semester of touring. I love my roles on the team, I love being with my team, I love the east coast... I'm really excited for what the next two months will bring. And God has just been like ... so sweet. I'm a person who tends to get just super excited for what's to come and a few weeks ago all I could think about was being home for summer, going to the lake, moving to Winnipeg with my friends and going to school again... And I was on the phone about two weeks back with someone pretty cool, telling them all these things that I just can't wait to happen and I just want to get there now! When he pointed out that a year ago this tour was all I could think about and talk about and couldn't wait to happen. And that was like.. aw yeah.. haha. God's been teaching me that it's really cool to look ahead, love the future, enjoy the goals and ambitions I set out but not to let that distract me from enjoying the here, the now, the today. And that's what He's been doing. I wake up in the morning with just butterflies for no apparent reason (I'm someone that gets butterflies often when I think about things to come) and I've just been filled with a ton of joy each day for the day and it's really, really awesome. :)
Anyways, that's a brief update.. I will continue to promise to try to update more regularly and maybe one day that'll stick ;)

For those that don't know.. We have our last event today in Paris, ON and then will be driving a long, long drive back Sunday and Monday with Tuesday as a day off in Winnipeg, Wednesday & Thursday morning in the office and I'll be coming home Thursday afternoon till Saturday night and then next Sunday (EASTER!) after church we're heading out for Ontario and won't be returning until May 19th! So that's what's coming... Pray for safety on the roads and praise God for the fun and unity our team's been experiencing and just that that'd all continue in the final stretch of tour!
