changing it up in Calgary :)

This day feels like it's going forever...!  Woke up at four this morning... but finally finished the oh so long drive and am now... in Calgary!  We went straight to Samaritans Purse offices which is where the GMA (Gospel Music Association) conference is being held and got a tour since we'll be volunteering at the conference Thursday and Friday.  What is one of the first things we see on our tour...?!  THE OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD WAREHOUSE!!  It was like... to me what Santa's workshop would be to any kind still believing in Santa.  It was like... we walked in and BUTTERFLIES!  The most absolutely greatest thirty seconds of my life - or at least a top ten.  I love Christmas... what a great thing.  I've decided I'm going to go there again someday and volunteer... I love Christmas.  I love children.  I love that operation!!  Anyway... moving on.  Tour continued and we found out that as volunteers we're going to be acting as room hosts - so basically we direct people to the different sessions they're trying to find and then we get to sit in on the sessions.  And some of the sessions I'm actually really excited about.  I mean I'm not musical but they'll be sweet to go to.  The ones I'm room hosting are...!

So that's what I'll be doing Thursday and Friday morning and afternoons.  Friday night is the Covenant Awards which is like GMA music awards.  So we all get to go to that - super pumped! :)  It's nice to have a break in the schedule and do something different.  :)  Anyway just thought I'd share what I'm doing since it's out of the ordinary!
