I wish these didnt always have to be so short... because I think of so many people back home that i want to call, text, email, facebook... anything personal but the time is just not there! Since friday we've been doing events every night. A typical day is... waking up early, driving 3-6 hours, arriving at the event venue (church or school) by 12:30, having lunch, unloading trailer and setting up, event from 5-9, take down and load trailer till about 10, drive to billets, sleep and do it again. Tuesday we have a day off and i'm so beyond excited. I love touring and i love the events but I can feel myself crashing. And thats why i'm just shooting out a quick message here - prayer for our team as we go into tomorrow's event... because we are all becoming really drained and it's becoming more and more of a routine rather than making the event personal and specific to the new girls we meet each night. it feels more like we're just going through the motions rather than actually focusing on what we're here to do and especially who we're here to do it for. Of course its the first week so we're learning so much and just thrust into this tour... it's an intense week for sure and I know it will get better but just pray that even as we're tired... we can make the most of our events because for each girl we encounter, it's their first time at the event. and we want to make sure it's as special for them as it was for the first group of girls. and just pray for us as a team, we're growing together a lot and just pray that that continues and that we can be incredible encouragement to each other. Especially pray for our day off - that it be a blessing to us and just rejuvenate us and refresh us and prepare us for more events. :)
I miss so many people and i'd love to talk personally to everyone - if you've recently emailed or facebooked me.. i have read them and i appreciate it and i'm so sorry for my slow responses. but i am thinking of you and i appreciate the updates on your lives. blessings !
sorry no verse tonight since my bible is far and i am tired, but there was one this morning and it was good - about the Lord being our strength.
